Here we go again...

G'day bloggers,

A couple of years ago I wrote about Sydney's talkback stations 2GB and 2UE using the same music bed in one of their station promos. Well, guess what - it's happened again.

This time the offender is a song that goes "Feelin' Alright...aaah haaa...". Kayley Harris and Dan Mullins on 2GB's weekend evening show are using this song as their opener. Fair enough, cool! Well, it didn't take long for 2UE, because they also are using this song in a station promotion for a movie that people can win tickets to!

Whether or not the song in question is used in this movie I don't know and if it is, fair enough. But if it's not, it's a bloody blatant ripoff of theme music used for one of 2GB's shows...and 2UE have been guilty MORE than once doing this.

Think of something original for a change 2UE! Geesh...

(meanwhile, at the Triple M ranch, STILL no change for New Order's "True Faith" track - it's STILL being broadcast in mono..can someone kick 'em up the arse to get a stereo mix of this into their playout please?? Far out, I'm this close to lending them one of my compile CD's to do it! There's a whole bunch of tracks in their system at the moment which are mono. Why the farg are they in mono to start with?? Bloody hell, it shits me that people in that industry are getting paid for fuckups like this, and I spot these things and can't do effing SHIT!)

..and if one more bloody station plays Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners, I'll scream....
