Channel 7 Sydney network closedown December 1982

Well, I mentioned it in this week's AV update, and in last week's. We've got another network closedown! This originally came in a batch of 20 betamax tapes recently acquired, but the bad news was that the tape it was originally found on was pretty worn - the result was very unstable vision, to the point that it wasn't possible to encode.

Not long afterwards, another tape was checked, and the identical closedown sequence was on the second copy - this one had much more stable vision and audio than the previous one. Lo and behold, it encoded successfully, and here it is now for your enjoyment!

This one is from Channel 7 Sydney - original air date may have been slightly before December 1982, but the copy we had was recorded on December 15th, 1982. Closedown fans, this one's for you! Enjoy!! As usual, the clip's in Quicktime/iPod Video compatible MP4 format.
