Andrew Harwood dies / Ray Martin leaves Channel 9

2UE reported this morning that Andrew Harwood has died. Complications regarding his asthmatic condition would seem to have been the cause. He collapsed on saturday and was rushed to hospital, and was on life support until yesterday. Found it hilarious he would offer all sorts of shall we say unique prizes to his listeners who called in - one was a packet of prunes! HAHAHA!

I've got a clip of Andrew singing over the top of Robert Goulet's "Ciao Compare" song he used to finish his show with - I'll put this up later tonight.

...and in more media news, Ray Martin has now officially quit Channel 9. No surprise at all..
